Nate Parsons, Coach

Her day job is in destination marketing, and she also does freelance marketing work and runs an Etsy shop making custom tanks and tees. When she's not at the gym or working, she's probably on the couch watching Forensic Files with her old, cranky cat named Whiskers.

Rachel competed in the throws for four years at Princeton University, ending up as a captain her senior year. Rachel joined CFNL in January 2016 and became a coach in October 2017. Rachel earned her Level 1 certificate that month, and also holds certificates in Scaling and Judging. Rachel loves working with all the athletes at CFNL, new and old, beginners or advanced. Her catchphrase is ‘Settle!’ which you are likely to hear if you are seated on a rower, which is her favorite piece of equipment. Rachel also loves to compete in team competitions, and help other teams strategize the workouts.
