CrossFit Leve1 One Trainer
Rachel was bitten by the Crossfit bug in January 2016. She came to CFNL with a background in basketball and track. In high school she was a member of two state championship basketball teams, and still holds the shot put and discus records at her junior high and high school. Rachel competed in the throws for four years at Princeton University, ending up as a captain her senior year. Rachel joined CFNL in January 2016 and became a coach in October 2017. Rachel earned her Level 1 certificate that month, and also holds certificates in Scaling and Judging. Rachel loves working with all the athletes at CFNL, new and old, beginners or advanced. Her catchphrase is ‘Settle!’ which you are likely to hear if you are seated on a rower, which is her favorite piece of equipment. Rachel also loves to compete in team competitions, and help other teams strategize the workouts. When she is not coaching or at the gym, Rachel’s day job is as a criminal defense attorney with the Siskiyou County Public Defender’s Office.
